Bone Tree
While on a family trip to Vernal, Utah and Dinosaur Monument, I saw this tree just off the side of the road. I thought I'd better stop, get out, take a closer look and bring the camera. Someones collection was on display.
Now that's different. I have seen shoe trees in many different locations, but never a bone tree. What will people think of next. Thanks for sharing your unusual find..
That reminds me of a photo I got down in Moab that I need to find and post for a Phun Phriday coming up some time soon. Great shots and I think the monochrome treatment was the right way to go.
Interesting, thanks for the response. I posted a skull back in May I believe it was, it was painted up by an Aboriginal artist. Here's the link if you'd like to take a peek at it.

Hi David, gosh it's been a while. I'm so sorry. I'm captured with these B&W. How did you get the contrast so high. It's amazing how you all do it. I can't seem to figure it out. Dagmar
Dagmar, The pictures are taken using a circular polarizer (in color) turned giving the picture the maximum effect. I did use Lightroom 3 to convert it to B&W. It was one of the presets. I hope that helps you. If you don't have a circular polarizer it is worth the cost. Every time I shoot outside I have it on my lens. Thanks for visiting my blog.
I saw that tree in 2009' took photos and lost my camera! I have been looking for any photos on line of that tree to show my friends how cool it was and here is the tree!! Thank you! D

The larger skull, I beleive are cattle. Some of the smaller ones could be skunk, coyote, dog.
So different and so unique. I really love what you find and interesting.

Love the BW photos got some skulls laying around myslef what a neat way to dispaly them.
I have a shot of a wall with cow skulls I should post. This also reminds me of a tree we saw in southern Utah that was covered with old shoes.
