Miniature Effect
In the Nikon D7200 there is a "miniature effect" that can produce this photo effect. It is not an effect I will use a lot but I think its cool. There are several other effect I could try and you should too! Taken out at the Great Salt Lake Marina.

Summer Nights
It is awesome to have a carnival come to town. This one visited the Layton Hills Mall parking lot for a week or so during the summer. When I saw that it was here, I couldn't wait to come back and do some long exposures photos. With all the light bulbs in, and a brilliant glow, the night became magical for those who came to be entertained and thrilled at the carnival.

A Snail's Pace
The need for SPEED!
I realize the car in photo above is a Corvette, but I keep thinking of the Mazda commercials where they say ZOOM, ZOOM when I look them! Nikon D7200 with a Tamron 90mm macro lens.

In "Sprite" Of It
The reason for the road trip with Sharee!
After getting off of I-15 on our way to Salina, we passed this old house. (Pictures above.) Turning around for these pictures turned out to be a great start to a road trip adventure!
At another turn on the road to Salina. Another photo opportunity.
I was invited to go on a road trip to Salina, Utah to see the large soda cans behind a gas station at the end of town. (Coming from the north.) One of several quirky things you can see across the state. It was a two hour drive from Salt Lake City and in "Sprite" of it, it was worth the drive. We found a few other things to see and ate at a home town restaurant called the Hot Spot. Great food and nice folks in Salina. Thanks Sharee for the invite and driving. We need another road trip, quirky or not!
