As The Sun Goes Down
As I was leaving Antelope Island the other night I noticed several cars park on the side of the causeway. Several photographers were standing out in the lake bed ready to capture the closing light of the day. This young woman not only captured the sunset but also took a moment to see it for herself. Sunsets at Antelope Island can be spectacular! Come and enjoy one for yourself or with someone special.

American Kestrel
I captured these Kestrels out at Farmington Bay. On a resent outing to the bay this little bird was the only thing worth photographing. There were lots of sea gulls and only a few eagles.

Coyotes
On the road again...
The day I was out taking these shots, there were three or four coyotes out roaming on Antelope Island. A few went to the right and another went to the left. They are generally elusive and hard to spot in the grass. These were walking on and along side the road. It was easy to stop and photograph them. We did see several at different places on the island. They may have been the same group, I don't know, they all look alike to me!

New Selfie
Not my choice of beverage, more of a Coke guy, but a relaxing place to sit, eat or socialize.
Shot using the diorama mode in the Olympus Stylus 1. No edits.

Little Pink Flower
I found this little beauty just outside a hotel room I was staying at. My little Olympus Stylus 1 has an excellent macro feature. I am very impressed with how close I can get to a subject. It was raining a little and I could see the rain drops still on the flower. They really help make the picture.
