What Are You Looking At? Answer
Answer, coyotes! There are about four roaming around along the shore and through the brush. I think there was a den for them to hang out in close by. Someone thought they tried to capture some birds for a meal, with no luck! All these pictures I captured with the Olympus Stylus 1. For a small camera it has great zoom and stunning picture capabilities. Antelope Island helped a little too. I love it.

What Are They Looking At?
While on a little trip out to Antelope Island, again! This was February. I was on my way out, when I noticed a large group of people off the side of the road. Of course, I notice the lady in the top picture first and pulled over to see what she was looking at. A large crowd started to form and camera were clicking all around me. After talking to the first woman and getting the 411, I saw the other woman taking pictures also. If you want to see what it is visit tomorrow when I post the others.

Doe
Yeah, you can take my picture!
Captured this you lady out at Antelope Island not long ago. I don't often see deer there as they are fast and hide in their surroundings. This doe let us take quite a few shots.

Go with friends to the state fair. See the sights, ride the rides, eat carnival foods and fun.

Bunch Of Yellow
I like the layers and complementary colors within this picture. I am glad someone has a better green thumb than I do. I used a large telephoto lens from the street to capture the flowers in a neighbors yard. They are still blooming with great colors. I should get back to them and get permission to get closer.

Great Heron
Followed this bird around for a while, each time I went to take its photo it would fly off.
Posing for a photo.
Graceful but shy!

Old VW
While visiting the bird refuge at the North end of the state this little beauty pulled up for a visit too. The owners where from California and one of them was a camera/photo buff! We had a nice visit and chat, about the car mostly. I took a few photos and reflected on the VW Bug I once owned and have regretted letting go. Old car or new lens? It is a question I struggle to answer every time I see a VW.

Busy Bee II
Its a challenge to photograph a bee collecting nectar. The bee buzzing about, wind blowing the flower, auto focus in and out, its a wonder I got any pictures at all.

Young Man Fishing
Visiting Kaysville Ponds, I witnessed some young men having a good time fishing. They were using hot dog chunks for bait and reeling them in as fast as they could cast! The small fish brought big smiles to their faces! I was in awe! I never get that lucky fishing. Must be the hot dogs! What a great way to spend the summer, fishing with your buddies. Making memories that turn into B-I-G fish stories, that only get B-I-G-G-E-R the more they are told!!

Squirrel
While hiking through the woods, I could hear the chatter of this little fellow. It took me a little while to spot it. Even with a good telephoto lens I still wanted to get closer. He or she was chattering like hens in a hen house! It was great fun to watch and observe this squirrel. Look at its dirty face.

Mushrooms
Its amazing what you can see when you look down below your knees. I found these little fungi while on a hike near Snow Basin. I need to look down more often!

Night Shots - Camping II
I thought the owner of this old car was fast asleep when I was taking there picture. Remember the crying baby, that's one camp over! Wrong again! The old has wooden spokes. I think it is a Hudson. The driver, a woman, was touring the US visiting friends and loved ones.
Night Shots - Camping
I asked this family if I could take these shots of them. They very kindly said yes, and I stayed only as long as I needed. They had a young child in the tent, he/she was not willing to go to bed! Do you remember the cry of a child who is so tired but not willing to sleep for fear of missing out on something fun. That was this child at 11 pm.
Here's a helpful photography tip, remember to shoot a vertical shot along with the horizontal. You never know when one will be better than the other.
